Can I park at the starting line?

No, there is no parking at the starting line for the 8 ¾ and 3 mile run. Parking is available in Trinidad near the 5 ¾ mile start.

Is there transportation from the finish line on the beach to the 8 ¾ starting line?

Transportation from beach to Trinidad Town Hall begins after the start of the race

Is there parking at Clam Beach?

Yes, limited parking is available at the beach.

Where are aid/water stations located?

Water is available at all starting lines.
Fruit and water is available at the finish line at Clam Beach

· 5 ¾ , 8 ¾ mile

· Salty's Surf Shop near 5 mile start
· Houda Point - approx. 5.5 miles
· Moonstone Beach - approx. 6.5 miles

I already registered and now I want to change to another race. Can I do this?

You can change your race entry at packet pick-up. DO NOT wait until the last minute to do this. See EVENT INFO for times and location of packet pick-up

Can I take my child with me in a jogging stroller?

No, our insurance forbids the use of strollers. Also, the river crossing can be too dangerous for very small children.

Can my family and friend ride in the bus to the starting line?

Yes, if space is available. Runners have priority.

Can I leave my warm-up clothing at the start line?

Yes, you can place your belongings in a plastic bag marked with your name and pick it up at the finish line.

What happens if the River is too high?

There is an alternate route available that does not cross the River.

How do I get my shoes if I leave them at the River?

Your shoes will be taken to the finish line by a Race volunteer.

Who makes that great chili served at the post-race chili feed?

Trinidad Mayor, Dean Heyenga, and his wife, Judy, make the chili from scratch.
